The government has appointed Sheikh Matiur Rahman, joint secretary to the Ministry of Commerce, as administrator for the Bangladesh Live and Chilled Food Exporters’ Association.
The ministry issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday. The administrator was appointed as per section-17 of the Trade Organisations Ordinance-2022.
The newly appointed administrator was asked to hold a fair and neutral election within 120 days and hand over the charge to the elected committee and apprise of the ministry.
