BRAC Bank has opened a new branch in Cox鈥檚 Bazar, expanding its operations in the tourist and commercial hub.
The branch, located in Kolatoli, was inaugurated on February 6 by chairperson Meheriar M Hasan and managing director and chief executive officer Selim RF Hussain.
Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, deputy managing director, and other senior officials attended the ceremony.
With 189 branches and over 1,100 agent banking outlets, BRAC Bank has one of Bangladesh鈥檚 largest banking networks, according to a press release.
The new branch aims to improve access to banking services for the region鈥檚 residents and businesses.
Selim RF Hussain stated that the bank is focused on expanding its physical presence while enhancing digital services to ensure broader customer access across the country.
