AKM Mohsin has been elected as president of the Bangladesh Photojournalist Association and Babul Talukder as its general secretary for 2025-26 term.
The executive committee election of the association was held at its office at Paltan in Dhaka on Saturday.
The 15-member executive committee of the BPJA includes Mashiur Rahman Suman and Mohammad Jahidul Islam as vice-presidents, Delwer Hossain Badal and Zahidul Islam Sazal as assistant general secretaries, Salequzzaman Chowdhury Razeeb as organising secretary, Farid Uddin Siddiqi as office secretary, Khokan Shikder as sports and culture secretary, Nasim Sikder as finance secretary and Md Saurav as publication and publicity secretary.
Moreover, Shafiqul Alam, Mahbub Hussain Khan Nobin, Aminul Islam and Kazal Hazra were elected as executive members of the committee.
