
EDOTCO Bangladesh, under its ‘Tower to Power’ corporate social responsibilities, has expanded its renewable energy support by equipping St Francis High School in Dinajpur with 2.2KW electricity sourced from solar panels integrated into its telecom tower, said a press release.
The launch event was attended by EDOTCO Bangladesh country managing director Sunil Issac, director of engineering Sabbir Ahmad and director of operations Md Monowar Sikder along with district education officer of Dinajpur, Bishop of the church and school authorities.
Sunil Issac said, ‘At EDOTCO, we are committed to leveraging our infrastructure for the greater good, ensuring that connectivity translates into real-life benefits for communities. The ‘Tower to Power’ initiative is a reflection of this vision, using renewable energy to address critical electricity shortages in underserved areas.’
