
Two passengers of an autorickshaw were killed, and its driver was seriously injured in a head-on collision between the three-wheeler and a human hauler in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Hamid, son of Abdul Hai of Satenga village in Bhaluka upazila, and Monir Hossain, son of the late Wadud Mia of Chandrati village.
The seriously injured driver, Shahjahan, has been admitted to Bhaluka Health Complex.
Dulal Chandra Kundu, sub-inspector of Bhaluka police station, said an autorickshaw heading from Gafargaon to Bhaluka collided with the human hauler traveling in the opposite direction.
‘Two people died on the spot,’ he added.
Upon receiving the information, the fire service and the police reached the scene and recovered the bodies.
