TikTok, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, on Monday hosted 鈥楧igital Safety Summit Bangladesh 2025鈥� in the capital Dhaka, said a press release.
The summit brought together thought leaders, safety experts, policymakers and content creators to foster discussions on creating a safer and more responsible online environment.
Among others, BTRC chairman Major General Md Emdad Ul Bari and TikTok public policy and government relations head 鈥� South Asia Ferdous Al Mottakin were present.聽 Panel sessions at the summit featured speakers from government bodies, tech industry leaders and digital influencers.
The event also highlighted TikTok鈥檚 latest safety features, educational initiatives and its partnership with the BTRC to strengthen digital safety measures across Bangladesh.
