SM Shawon Mahmud and Md Mashiur Rahaman have been elected chairman and secretary respectively of Dhaka Branch Council of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh for the year 2025, said a press release.
Zillur Rahman and Md Zasim Uddin were elected vice-chairman and treasurer in the 1st meeting of the 40th Dhaka Branch Council held on Tuesday.
SM Shawon Mahmud is working as chief financial officer of Sirajganj Economic
Zone Limited. He was treasurer of DBC in 2012, secretary in 2014 and vice-chairman in 2016.
Zillur Rahman is working as general manager 鈥� finance and accounts of Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Limited.
Md Mashiur Rahaman is working as additional commissioner (customs and VAT), first secretary (VAT Policy) at the National Board of Revenue.
Md Zasim Uddin is working as executive director (finance and HR) and company secretary of Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company, an entity of the Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance.
