A youth was stabbed to death by some miscreants in Sonadanga area of Khulna city on Thursday.
The deceased, Al Amin, 26, a salesman, was a resident of Hijla village in Chitalmari of Bagerhat.
Officer-in-charge of Sonadanga police station Shafiqul Islam said that Al Amin was on his way to work on a motorcycle when four men on two motorcycles attacked him from behind.
The assailants stabbed him with sharp weapons, leaving him injured.
People of the area rescued him and took him to Khulna Medical College Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
