Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research concluded the three-day Science and Industrial Technology Fair-2025 on the BCSIR premises in Dhaka on Wednesday.

Ministry of Science and Technology鈥檚 additional secretary Md Delwar Hossain attended as chief guest at the ceremony and distributed awards and certificates among the winners divided in four groups, said a press release.


鈥楨very year, new scientists, researchers and innovators are making a special contribution through this event,鈥 he mentioned.

In the speech of president, chairman of the council, Samina Ahmed, said that students had participated in the fair with more than 75 projects from different schools and colleges across the country.

鈥楢s a result, our efforts to reach the common people across the country have been successful. The spontaneous participation of the students in the quiz competition organised in three groups was remarkable, which increased their interest in science education,鈥 she added.

School and college students and self-taught scientists participated in the fair in the development of science and industrial technology.

Sixty eight science projects in different groups were exhibited in the fair, where about 250 scientists participated. In addition, some institutions of the Ministry of Science and Technology presented their activities to the visitors at the fair.
