
Bangladesh clinched the five-match kabaddi test series with one match in hand as they beat Nepal by 49-24 points in the fourth match at the Paltan Ground in the city on Wednesday.
Bangladesh, who led the first half by 31-18 points, earned two lonas in either half of the game.
Earlier, Bangladesh beat Nepal by 53-29 points in the first match, but Nepal staged a brilliant fight back to level the series, defeating Bangladesh by a narrow margin of 45-42 points in the second match.
Bangladesh again took lead in the series beating the Himalayan side by 42-37 points in the third match.
The last and fifth match of the series will be held on Friday at the same venue.
The Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation is hosting this type of test series after 51 years, having previously hosted India in 1974.
