A farmer was killed in an attack by a wild elephant at Kaitakpara village under Rajasthali upazila of Rangamati district Thursday morning.
The deceased is Usching Marma, 45, son of late Kyao Marma, a resident of the village.
Officer-in-charge of Rajasthali police station Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury said that Usching Marma was attacked by a wild elephant in the area at about 11:00am while he was going to his farm land.
