
United International University organised the orientation programme for the newly admitted students of the Spring–2025 semester on the university campus in Dhaka on Friday.
Students from school of science and engineering, school of business and economics, school of humanities and social sciences and school of life sciences took part in the orientation programme, said a press release on Saturday.
Vice-chancellor of the UIU, Professor Md Abul Kashem Mia, was present as chief guest at the program. Among others, Professor Mohammad Musa, dean, school of business and economics, and Professor Hasan Sarwar, dean, school of science and engineering, spoke at the program.
Abul Kashem Mia said that the students must attend classes regularly and acquire various skills in the development of students as world class skilled human resources. He also advised the students to give special attention to research and innovation along with their studies.
Registrar of the UIU Zulfiqur Rahman discussed the academic rules of the university.
UIU Cultural Club presented a cultural programme at the end of the programme.
