
After around 11 and a half hours of effort on Sunday, the Dhaka North City Corporation rescued a cat that was trapped in a beam under the Dhaka elevated expressway, right above the Mohakhali Flyover in Dhaka.
The DNCC public relations officer, Mukbul Hossain, told 抖阴精品 that the DNCC workers began the rescue operation at around 6:00pm on Saturday and successfully rescued the cat at around 5:30am on Sunday.
A DNCC press release on Sunday said that the DNCC workers began the rescue operation on Saturday evening using two hydraulic ladders, but the cat kept moving away in fear.
Upon seeing the trapped cat, a resident of the city informed the DNCC administrator Mohammad Azaz and he then instructed the DNCC officials to take the necessary steps to rescue the cat.聽
Seeing the incident on social media, four volunteers joined the rescue mission, and one of the volunteers, named Ariz ul Muluk, later set a trap with a special cage and placed food there to rescue the cat, it said.聽
When the cat got caught in the trap, it was safely brought down on Sunday morning.
When the DNCC workers contacted the volunteers, Ariz ul Muluk informed them that after the cat was rescued, it was given first aid at a clinic in Baridhara.
A volunteer from Mohammadpur has adopted the cat and the cat is now fully recovered, it added.聽聽
