An insurance company employee was killed as a speeding trolley rammed into his motorbike in Shibganj upazila of Chapinawabganj on Wednesday.
The deceased was Masud Rana, 28, son of late Aynal Haque of Mankasha union of the upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Shibganj police station Golam Kibria said the accident occurred at about 10:00am when the trolley crashed into the bike carrying him in Banoful area, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to Upazila Health Complex where physicians declared him dead upon arrival, he said.
The body was recovered and legal action would be taken in this regard, the OC added.
