The board of trustees of the Gono Bishwabidyalay held a meeting at the Major Haider auditorium of Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital at Dhanmondi in Dhaka on Saturday.
The 54th meeting of the BoT was presided over by the BoT president of the university Waliul Islam, said a press release.
The minutes of the 53th and special trustee board meetings along with other important issues were discussed in detail and approved in the meeting.
The members of BoT, Professor Serajul Islam Choudhury, Salehuddin Ahmed, Farida Akhtar, Professor Amirul Islam Chowdhury, Professor Altafunnesa, Professor Abul Qasem Chowdhury, Professor Dilara Chowdhury, Shireen Parvin Huq, Professor Md Abul Hossain, vice-chancellor of the university Professor Md Serajul Islam, treasurer Md Ohiduzzaman, among others, were present during the meeting.
