Uzma Chowdhury has been elected chairperson of Meghna Bank PLC, said a press release.
Since October 2008, she has been serving as director- finance at PRAN-RFL Group. She is also a member of finance and audit committee of Under-Privileged Children Education Programme and a committee member of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Dhaka.
She is a certified public accountant from the State of Texas, USA. She holds a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas.
