Mild heatwave is lashing parts of the country and it may continue, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
鈥楳ild heatwave is sweeping Dhaka, Faridpur, Manikganj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Rangamati,Khulna, Bagerhat, Jashore, Chuadanga聽 and聽 Patuakhali and it may continue,鈥� said a Met office bulletin on Monday.
Besides, BMD predicted rains, thundershowers and lightning flashes in five divisions of the country.
鈥楻ain or thunder showers or lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna聽 and聽 Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places,鈥� said the bulletin.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, it said.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
