Taskin Ahmed registered the most expensive bowling figure in Bangladesh鈥檚 List-A cricket history when he conceded 107 runs in 10 overs in Mohammedan Sporting Club鈥檚 match against Gazi Group Cricketers in the ongoing Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League at the BKSP-4 on Tuesday.

The Bangladesh pacer, who recently became the highest-paid national cricketer, was having a moderate day with the ball as he gave away 62 runs in his first eight overs to take two wickets.

However, Taskin got a bashing in his last two overs to concede 45 runs more, as Gazi Group batter Tofael Ahmed and Anamul Haque were in the mood.

Taskin, however, got rid of Tofael (63 off 29) in the last over, but Anamul remained unbeaten on 149 off 143.

Before Taskin, the most runs conceded by a bowler in an innings in List-A cricket in Bangladesh belonged to Iqbal Hossain Emon. The right-arm medium pacer of Gazi Tyres Cricket Academy conceded 104 runs, that too in just nine overs, against Abahani Limited at Fatullah in 2024, also in DPL.
