Standard Chartered Bangladesh has completed a wide range of agricultural initiatives in partnership with Thengamara Mohila Sabuj Sangha in Bogura, Gaibandha, Rangpur, Joypurhat, Sirajganj, Patuakhali, Pabna and Faridpur, said a press release.
These initiatives are driving productivity across rural farming communities by providing beneficiaries with innovative, climate-adaptive farming practises, a variety of seeds, machineries and other technical support. Standard Chartered Bangladesh contributed more than Tk 63 million to implement these initiatives.
About 1,00,000 farmers have directly benefited through these programmes.
