NCC Bank celebrated Financial Literacy Week 2025 with the theme ‘Think Before You Follow, Wise Money Tomorrow’, which focused on integrating unbanked and marginalised people into the financial system.
A discussion was organized by the Financial Inclusion Cell of NCC Bank at its head office on Wednesday.
The meeting was chaired by M Shamsul Arefin, the managing director of NCC Bank. Other key participants included M Khurshed Alam, additional managing director and Md Zakir Anam, deputy managing director.
Senior vice-presidents Nighat Mumtaz, head of Sustainable and Women’s Banking, Sharif Mohammad Mahsin, head of SME, Md Sajjadul
Islam, head of ICT-Enterprise Application, and Zobair Mahmood Fahim, head of Retail and DFS Business attended the programme.Â
Shahin Akter Nuha, head of Transaction Banking and Cash Management, and Md Anisur Rahman Majumder, head of Financial Inclusion Cell were also present.
Other divisional heads at the head office and heads of branches across the country also took part in a meaningful discussion on the bank’s strategy regarding the theme of financial inclusion through digital platform.
