A construction worker died after falling from the roof of a two-storey under construction building in Dhopapukur area of Satkhira on Saturday.
The deceased was Barkat Ali Gazi, 60, resident of Shibtala Maaskhola area under Satkhira Sadar upazila.
The incident took place around 8.30am when he was working on the roof of a two-storey under construction building in the area and suddenly fell down from the roof due to carelessness.
He died on the spot.
Police inspector for investigation of Satkhira Sadar police station Md Shafiqul Islam said that the body of the deceased was handed over to his family.
