The written examination for 46th Bangladesh Civil Service is scheduled to begin on May 8 while the preliminary test of 47th BCS will be held on June 27.
The Public Service Commission issued a notice in this regard on Monday.
The exams will be held simultaneously in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh, said the release.
The written examination of the last BCS and the schedule of the 47th Preliminary and other related important instructions will be informed later through the PSC website (http://www.bpsc.gov.bd/), Teletalk Bangladesh Limited's website (http://www.bpsc.gov.bd/) and national daily newspapers.
