Opting to bat first, Shinepukur were restricted to 223 in 49.5 overs, where captain Rayan Rafsan (77) and number nine Shariful Islam (57 off 69) scored fifties.

Taijul Islam took three wickets, while Nasum Ahmed, Miraz, and Mohammad Saifuddin each took two.

Chasing the target, Mehidy and Rony Talukdar (61 off 86) put on a 164-run opening stand for Mohammedan.

Parvez Hossain Emon’s hundred helped Abahani Limited to beat Dhanmondi Sports Club by five wickets at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium as they further strengthened their position at the top of the table.

Dhanmondi, after being put into bat first, managed only 201-9 in 50 overs as Fazle Mahmud top-scored with 87 while Ziaur Rahman made 57 runs.

Left-arm spinner Rakibul Hasan took 4-16 runs while fast bowler Nahid Rana also clinched 4-45 runs.

Abahani suffered a mini collapse as they went from 57-0 to 75-4 within five overs during the chase.

But Parvez held the innings together and added 125 runs with Mosaddek Hossain (54 off 64) for the fifth wicket to take them home.

The left-hander remained unbeaten on 124 off 133 with 13 fours and five sixes.

Sabbir Hosan and Irfan Shukkur hit hundreds, while Imrul Kayes’ ton went in vain as Prime Bank Cricket Club beat Agrani Bank Cricket Club by 34 runs at the BKSP-4.

Prime Bank posted 303-4 in 50 overs thanks to Sabbir (102 off 121) and Irfan (107* off 94).

All four partnerships of Prime Bank reached fifty, with the highest 114 of 68 coming for the fourth wicket between Irfan and Shahadat Hossain (48 off 33).

Imrul and Shadman Islam (68) laid the perfect foundation for Agrani Bank as they added 171 off 179 balls for the second wicket. But they fell in quick succession before Imrul made 116 off 115 with 11 fours and four sixes.

Agrani Bank lost the last nine wickets for 84 runs as Rishad Hossain and Arafat Sunny each took three wickets for Prime Bank.
