
The Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh has recently held its 16th syndicate meeting at the conference room of its Dhaka campus.
The meeting was presided over by vice-chancellor of the university, air-vice-marshal AKM Manirul Bahar, said a press release on Monday.
The VC recalled with profound respect the martyrs of the July-August student-led mass uprising.
Subsequently, he went to inform everyone that they were the first university who proposed renaming the university鈥檚 name following the July-August uprising.
As a result, he appreciated the close collaboration of all syndicate members in renaming the university, Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh.
AAUB, a specialised higher education and research institution, is playing a vital role in developing future leaders to face the challenges of aviation and aerospace technology, he mentioned.
Following that, he gave everyone in attendance an overview of the activities since the 15th syndicate meeting on December 17 in the past year.
The agendas of the 16th syndicate meeting were discussed in length and needful decisions were taken.
All the syndicate members of Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh, including the representative of Ministry of Education, University Grants Commission, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh University of Professionals, Bangladesh Maritime University and CAAB were attended in the meeting.聽聽聽
