Gifts for Eid-ul-Fitr were distributed to the students of Mayadip Shishu Pathshala at Mayadip at Sonargaon in Narayanganj on Friday.
Eid gifts, including T-shirts, were distributed to the students and lungis to the underprivileged people in the area under the initiative of Subornogram Foundation.
Subornogram Foundation established the charity school Mayadip Shishu Pathshala to educate underprivileged children of the char, which is surrounded by the Meghna River.
Abdullah Al Rahim supported the Eid gift distribution while Subornogram Foundation founder and poet Shahed Kayes, Maryam Akhter Pakhi, Rashed, Rakib, Saiful, Mamun, Tuhin, Jobayer, Farzana and others were present at the event.
