A complaint was submitted to the police on Thursday night against actress Pori Moni physically assaulting her house help.
The victim, Pinky Akter, submitted the complaint to the Bhatara police station in Dhaka, said Mazharul Islam, officer-in-charge of the Vatara police station.
According to the police, an altercation reportedly took place over feeding Pori Moni鈥檚 child and Pori Moni allegedly assaulted Pinky during the altercation.
Pinky started working at Pori Moni鈥檚 house about a month ago, police said quoting the victim.
鈥榃e have received a complaint in this regard,鈥� Bhatara OC Mazharul said, adding that they are investigating the allegations. Porimoni could not be reached for her comments despite repeated attempts over the phone.
