Bangladesh Medical University provided treatment to 2,000 outpatients under a special arrangement during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, from March 29 to April 2, said a press release.聽聽
The hospital also kept its indoor and emergency departments open every day as per the usual schedule and continued providing treatment to patients, said a press release on Friday.
Meanwhile, on Eid day, March 31, the hospital provided special meals to all patients, including those injured during the July鈥揂ugust mass uprising, who are still receiving treatment.
In addition, on the day the BMU vice-chancellor, professor Md Shahinul Alam, distributed Eid gifts to children receiving treatment in the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Department and the Pediatric Nephrology Department.
The post-Eid reunion will be held on Saturday from 8:30am to 10:30am.
