RFL, country鈥檚 leading business conglomerate, has started exporting grass mat by exporting the item to the Philippines.
The first consignment of 鈥楽upport鈥� branded grass mat was sent to the Philippines from the factory of RFL Plastics Limited, a concern of the RFL Group, located at Danga Industrial Park in Narsingdi recently.
Md Jahangir Alam, executive director at RFL Plastics Limited said, 鈥楪rass mat are mainly used to enhance the beauty of the interior and exterior of buildings, to create playgrounds and for various landscaping purposes. Earlier, this product was imported. The import dependence of this product is gradually decreasing.鈥�
Ahsan Habib, chief operating officer of RFL Plastics Limited, said, 鈥楾he quality of our products and production capacity have been recognised in the international market.鈥�
We are now not only able to meet the domestic demand, but we also have the capacity to export abroad.鈥�
He further said, 鈥楾here is a huge demand for grass mat in European and North American countries. We will start exporting grass mat to European and North American countries soon. For this, initiatives have been taken to increase the production capacity of our factory.鈥�
