
Public Service Commission (PSC) chairman Mobasser Monem on Tuesday said the final results of the 44th BCS will be published by June 30.
He said this while speaking to reporters after the PSC's anniversary event today.
Monem said the commission is working by giving top priority to completing the recruitment process as soon as possible. The viva-voce examinations will be completed by June 17 and the final results will be announced by June 30, he added.
According to the circular, a total of 1,710 officers will be recruited through the 44th BCS.
Of these, 250 will be recruited in the administration cadre, 50 in the police cadre, 10 in the foreign affairs cadre, 14 in the Ansar cadre, 30 in audit and accounting, 11 in the tax cadre, eight in cooperatives, seven in railway transport and commercial, 10 in information, 23 in postal services, six in commerce, 27 in family planning, three in food, 485 in technical cadre and 776 in education cadre.
A total of 3,50,716 candidates have initially applied for the 44th BCS.
