Russian deputy defence minister Colonel General Alexander Fomin and Bangladesh chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman have met in Moscow to discuss the prospects of military cooperation, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
On April 7, they held a meeting in Moscow as part of the latter鈥檚 visit to the Russian Federation, said the Russian Embassy in Dhaka quoting a statement.
The Russian Defence Ministry said that the sides discussed prospects for cooperation in the defence sector and expressed mutual determination to further strengthen the existing friendly relations between the armies and peoples of Russia and Bangladesh.
鈥楾he meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere,鈥� the ministry added.
