A delegation from the college of international education, Northwest A&F University, China visit Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute on Wednesday.
BARI scientists and officers welcomed the China delegation while the director general Md Abdullah Yousuf Akhond gave a welcome address, said a press release.
Senior scientific officer (director general鈥檚 office) Md Bazlur Rahman delivered brief presentation.
BARI director (research) Munshi Rashid Ahmad, director (training and communication) Md Ataur Rahman, director (planning and evaluation) Md Abdur Rashid, director (horticulture research centre), Faruque Ahmed, Kang Jile, vice-dean, college of international education, NWAFU, Huang Luwen, vice-dean, college of information engineering, NWAFU, Wang Hongmei, vice-dean, college of economics and management, NWAFU, Professor An Xiaopeng, college of animal science and technology, NWAFU and Professor Fan Lichao, college of natural resources and environment, NWAFU, China and senior scientists from various division/centre/section of BARI were present.
Later, the delegation visits various laboratories & research field in BARI.
