
Amari Dhaka has chalked out elaborate programmes to celebrate Pahela Baishakh, the first day of the Bengali new year 1432, with immense festivity, says a press release.
On the joyous occasion of Pahela Baishakh to greet the Bengali new year, Amari Dhaka is all set with bang and cheer in a complete traditional Bengali style.
A bustling hub of activities buzzing with desi entertainment along with bioscope show, fortune teller, bangle seller, dhak dhol and many more exciting entertainments will represent the excitement of the Bengali culture and tradition.
Amari’s signature restaurant Amaya Food Gallery will offer an endless opportunity to enjoy traditional Bangladeshi delicacies during brunch and dinner.
The Amaya Food Gallery will feature ‘Roshna Shondha’ and ‘Panta Parban’ prepared by seasoned Bengali chefs, diners can indulge on sumptuous Bangladeshi dishes authentic to the divisional regions from where they originate.
The cuisines will be available for both brunch and dinner. Panta Parban which is brunch is at Tk 5,999 net for pay 1 eat 2 where as Roshna Shondha is dinner buffet at Tk 8,999 net for Pay 1 Eat 4.
Amari has also planned a traditional Baishakhi Mela to be held at Cascade Terrace.
The fair will comprise exhilarating activities such as dhak dhol, bioscope show, fortune teller, bangle seller, face paint, mehedi art and also with traditional food along with daber pani, beler shorbot, sweet lassi, malai tea, pitha, fuchka, chotpoti, jhal muri and much more customary offerings at the hotel lobby.
There will be an assortment of colourful and effervescent events at the hotel to entertain guests and visitors with traditional food as Amari Dhaka is arranging Baishakhi Mela from 11:00am to 6:00pm.
Amari’s signature restaurant Amaya Food Gallery and Cascade Lobby Lounge will bring special offerings to celebrate the occasion. To start off, Amaya Food Gallery will offer mouth-watering ‘Baishakhi Brunch’, a tantalising amalgamation of breakfast and lunch, to the guests to spice things up by flaunting a rich Bengali line-up of dishes. The Baishakhi Dinner buffet will feature cardinal Baishakhi dishes such as Padma Illish Polao, Deshi Murgi Roast, Masala Pomfret, Paturi, vortas along with other dishes such as Dhakaiya kachchi biryani, mutton chui jhal, hasher vuna, kacha lanka murgi, shorshe bata illish, chingri malay kari, rupchada macher kalia and a vast selection of Bengali and international items.
The Baishakhi Brunch Panta Parban, will be available at Amaya Food Gallery from 11:30am to 3:30pm and Dinner Roshna Shondha buffet from 6:30pm to 10:30pm on April 13, 14 and 15.
