Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society and Police Football Club earned wins as the second-leg of the Bangladesh Premier League resumed over a one-and-a-half-month break at two separate venues across the country on Friday.

Rahmatganj beat bottom-placed Chittagong Abahani 2-0 at the Birshreshtha Flight Lt Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj, while Police FC beat Fakirerpool Young Men鈥檚 Club 3-0 at the Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.


In Munshiganj, defender Tanvir Hossain (28th) and Ghanian forward Samuel Boatang (44th) scored one goal each for Rahmatganj鈥檚 sixth win in 11 games.聽

In Gazipur, forward MS Bablu (71st and 85th) scored a brace, while another forward, Dipok Roy (78th) added the other one to give Police FC their fifth win in 11 games.聽聽聽聽

In their first leg matches, Rahmatgang earned a same-margin win over Ctg Abahani while Police FC beat Fakirerpool 4-1 in December 2024.

After playing out 11 games each, Rahmatgang were placed in fourth in the 10-team table with 18 points followed by Police FC with 16 points. Eighth-placed Fakirerpool have nine points. while Ctg Abahani have three points.
