The admission fair for the summer 2025 semester of Manarat International University has started with a 50 per cent discount on admission fees.
The 12-day admission fair began at the seminar hall of the university鈥檚 permanent campus at Ashulia in Dhaka on Saturday, said a press release on Sunday.
The acting vice-chancellor of the university Professor Mohammad Abdur Rob was present as chief guest at the event, which was presided over by dean of the faculty of school of engineering, science and technology Professor Md Mizanur Rahman.
Writer, educationist and career specialist Ahsan Habib Imroz attended as discussant on career and higher education while singer Obaidullah Tarek rendered songs at the event. 聽
Several graduates of the university working in various government and private institutions spoke at the event. Among them was SM Tasmirul Islam, a prosecutor at the International Crimes Tribunal.
The university offers 100 per cent discount on tuition fees based on the results of the SSC and HSC exams. Among these, those who have a GPA of 10 in both the SSC and HSC exams except the fourth subject will get a 100 percent discount on tuition fees.聽
