Bangladesh national women鈥檚 kabaddi team suffered their second defeat in the five-match kabaddi Test series after losing to hosts Nepal by 29-22 points in their second match held in Kathmandu, Nepal on Monday.
With this result, Nepal took a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. Held at Satdobato taekwondo hall at Lalitpur, Bangladesh trailed the first half by 18-10 points.
Coach Arduzzaman Munshi, however, sees an improvement of Bangladesh compared to the first match.
聽鈥楾he team played well in today鈥檚 match. In the first match, Bangladesh did very badly in both defense and attacking area. However, today, the defense did very well,鈥� said Arduzzaman after the match.
Despite the defeat, he hoped that his team would be able to stage a fightback strongly in the upcoming matches.
鈥楬opefully we can win two of the remaining three matches we have left even though we are 2-0 down in the series,鈥� said the coach.
The third match of the series will be held today at the same venue.聽 Earlier, in the first match Bangladesh suffered 41-18 points defeat to Nepal.
