Former chief of Bangladesh Police Mamun placed on 43-day remand
A Dhaka court on Tuesday placed former Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun on a 43-day remand in connection with eight cases filed over the killings during the July-August student-led mass uprising.
