The government on Monday formed an 11-member task force to decide the next course of actions against the foreigners illegally staying in Bangladesh, as the deadline for submitting necessary documents by them expired on January 31.
Home affairs adviser lieutenant general (retired) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that over 33, 000 foreigners were still illegally staying in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh interim government home ministry on Tuesday urged foreigners, who have been staying in Bangladesh illegally, to collect necessary legal documents by January 31.
