Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan was adorned with the rank badge of Air Chief Marshal in the presence of prime minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday.
He received the new rank badge from Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hassan at a ceremony held at the Ganabhaban.
During the event, high-ranking military and civilian officials were present, according to an ISPR media release.
