In a major reshuffle in the top level of Bangladesh army, major general Ziaul Ahsan had been relieved from his post while lieutenant general M Saiful Islam was transferred to the foreign ministry.
Inter Services Public Relation Directorate issued a press release in this regard on Tuesday.
Lieutenant general Md Majibur Rahman was made the GOC army training and doctrine command, while lieutenant general Ahmed Tabrez Shams Chowdhury got the post of master general of army quarter.
Lieutenant general Mizanur Rahman Shameem was made chief of general staff while lieutenant general Mohammad Shaheenul Haque appointed commandant National Defence College and major general ASM Ridwanur Rahman received the post of director general of National Telecommunication Monitoring Centre.
