The adviser to the railways ministry Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan on Tuesday said that they are open to discuss the demands of the railway running staff members and solve those amicably.

He, however, also said that the government would take 鈥渙ther steps鈥 if compelled.


While visiting the Kamalapur Railway Station at around 10:30am on the day he said these to the reporters.

He said they have arranged BRTC buses for some routes to take the passengers who bought train tickets to go to different destinations.

The adviser also said that they have already met some demands of the protesting staffers but they went to work abstention even after the development.
