Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research held a seminar titled ‘Technology excellence in food processing research 2025’ at the IFST auditorium of BCSIR in Dhaka on Monday.
The event was attended by the council chairman Samina Ahmed as chief guest and additional secretary (development) of science and technology ministry Muhammad Ashraf Ali Faruk as special guest, said a press release.
Samina Ahmed said that the seminar would help in further dynamising food research activities.
Ashraf Ali Faruk said that if the benefits of IFST’s food processing research and development could be brought to the doorsteps of the people then the benefits of such projects would be visible.
Representatives of the domestic industry sector, food researchers from various institutions, and more than 50 researchers and teachers from technology institutions and students from various universities of the country attended in the seminar.
