Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish, while discussing key reform proposals with the National Consensus Commission on Monday, proposed ‘multiple thoughts or paths’ to replace ‘pluralism’ that was recommended as fundamental principle.

The party’s senior naib-e-ameer Maulana Yusuf Ashraf led a delegation in the meeting, chaired by the NCC vice-chairman Professor Ali Riaz.

Yusuf Ashraf said that his party opposed ‘pluralism’ because the word was contrary to the concept of the oneness of Allah.
