When the service will be resumed that must also be announced on television scrolls with expressing apology.


The power, energy and mineral resources ministry on Sunday issued a directive of the adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan. He is also adviser to the ministries of road transport and highways and railways.

The directive came after the adviser did not get informed about two incidents took place on Saturday by the officials of the ministries of road transport and highways and power, energy and mineral resources.

The Sunday’s directive reads that – on April 26 the movement of metro rails remained suspended from 5:06pm and it resumed at 6:52pm and at 5:50pm power blackout occurred at Khulna region and it resumed at 7:00pm.

In both cases any secretary or agency head did not inform the adviser about these incidents, it continued.

The adviser got to know about the incidents from the social media, it further read.

The directive ended with the sentence — ‘We must remember that customer and passenger services are not our kindness, but our responsibility.’
