Under the guidance of the Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank, the School Banking Conference-2025 was successfully organised in the Moulvibazar district, with Jamuna Bank PLC taking the lead in hosting the event.
All scheduled banks operating in the district participated in the conference, reflecting a strong collective commitment to advancing financial literacy among the youth.
The conference was presided over by Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, managing director and CEO of Jamuna Bank PLC.
Rup Ratan Pine, executive director of the Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank, attended the event as chief guest.
Special guests included Md Iqbal Mohsin, director of the Financial Inclusion Department, and Fazlur Rahman, education officer of Moulvibazar district.
The event was also graced by the presence of senior officials from all scheduled banks in the region, further emphasising the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting school banking initiatives.
The conference concluded with a cultural programme and an engaging quiz competition, aimed at encouraging students鈥� interest in banking and financial education.
