Religious affairs minister Md Faridul Haque Khan Dulal was accorded a reception by Bangladesh Sugarmill Akhchashi Federation on Thursday.
Federation鈥檚 general secretary Md Shahjahan Ali Badshah conducted the programme that began with the recitation of the holy Quran.
The meeting was presided over by the president of the organisation Md Mazharul Haque Pradhan, former lawmaker of Panchgarh-1. Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation chairman Sheikh Shoebul Alam spoke as chief discussant.
ATM Kamrul Islam Tang, joint secretary and director (sugarcane development and research) spoke as special guest, said a press release.
Khandkar Azim Ahmed, director (finance), Md Ataur Rahman Khan, director (production and engineering), Md Khorshed Alam, president, Central Employees Union, Md Mahmudul Hasan, president, central sports and cultural committee, spoke among the invited guests.
BSFIC secretary Chowdhury Ruhul Amin Kaiser, the president and the general secretary of BSFIC Officers Association and other officers, leaders and farmers were present in the meeting.
