Biman Bangladesh Airlines managing director Shafiul Azim, also an additional secretary, has been promoted to the rank of secretary and posted to the Election Commission Secretariat as its secretary.
Shafiul replaces Md Jahangir Alam, who has been transferred to the public security division of the home ministry.
The public administration ministry issued two separate gazette notifications to the effect on Tuesday.
