Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University conducted the national vitamin A-plus campaign as part of the EPI programme on its campus on Saturday.
BSMMU’s vice-chancellor professor Deen Mohd Noorul Huq and pro-VC (academic) professor Mohammed Atiqur Rahman inaugurated the campaign by feeding vitamin A plus capsules to children, said a press release.
The university’s pro-VC (research and development) professor Md Moniruzzaman Khan, dean professor Debbrata Bonik, dean professor Manik Kumar Talukder, registrar professor ABM Abdul Hannan, proctor professor Md Habibur Rahman Dulal, director (hospital) brigadier general Rezaur Rahman and others were present.
