State minister for water resources Zaheed Farooque visited the flood affected areas of Phulgazi and Parshuram upazila in Feni and distributed relief goods among the people in the flooded areas on Tuesday.
During the visit, Zaheed Farooque exchanged views with the people of all levels, including the local administration, public representatives and gave instructions to the concerned officials of Bangladesh Water Development Board to take necessary measures for the protection of flood victims.
Member of parliament of Feni-1 constituency Alauddin Ahmed Chowdhury Nasim, director general of BWDB Muhammad Amirul Haq Bhuiya and deputy commissioner Mushammat Shahina Akhtar, among others, were present.
