The Bangladesh Public Service Commission sent a letter to the Anti-Corruption Commission on Wednesday seeking an inquiry against its five officials over allegations of amassing illegal wealth.

The PSC sent the letter, signed by its senior assistant secretary for adminstartion-1 Jamila Sabnam, to ACC secretary Khurshida Yasmeen seeking legal measures following an inquiry against its five officials and employees over the corruption allegations.

According to the letter, a case was filed with the Paltan police station against the five employees of the PSC and some others for their alleged involvement with offices in illegally collecting the question papers and distributing them before the examination for the post of deputy assistant engineer of Bangladesh Railway held on July 6, 2024.
