The American International University Bangladesh has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Police Staff College Bangladesh.
Signed on July 11 at the university, the MoU will enhance education, research, and development opportunities between the two institutions, said a press release issued on Monday.
The MoU was signed between vice-chancellor of the AIUB Professor Saiful Islam and Mallick Faqrul Islam, bpm, ppm, rector, additional inspector general, Police Staff College Bangladesh.
Hasanul A Hasan, the AIUB founding member, Nadia Anwar, AIUB founding member and vice-chairman, AIUB pro-VC Professor Md Abdur Rahman, Md. Rezaul Haq, ppm, vice-rector of Police Staff College Bangladesh, among others, were present at the ceremony.聽
Mallick Faqrul Islam expressed satisfaction with the quality education environment at AIUB, hoping that the MoU would lead to higher education opportunities for Bangladesh police.
He further stated that the AIUB and the Bangladesh Police would work together as partners for the country鈥檚 development.聽 Saiful Islam said that both institutions would play a strong role in the mutual development of education.
Through this agreement, Bangladesh Police and their family members will receive special benefits in higher education and research at the AIUB, said the press release.
